Invention, rewriting, usurpation: Discursive fights over religious traditions in antiquity

PhD seminar

  • PhD students participating in the conference are invited to give a paper at the PhD seminar held on  Monday, 31 May
  • Papers should be of maximum 5000-6000 words in length
  • Depending on the number of participants, each paper session will be 30-45 mins in duration
  • Since papers will be circulated in advance among the participants, they will not be re-read at the seminar, but the PhD student is expected to give a short presentation (5-10 mins) in order to leave as much time as possible for discussion
  • PhD students giving a paper can expect full reimbursement of conference fee and possibly partial reimbursement of travel expenses
