Practical information

Price

  • The workshop is financed by the Nordic Research Network “Religion, Ethics and Law in the Nordic Societies”
  • Maximum number of participants: 30
  • Accommodation: free for all participants, irrespective of background
  • Travelling expenses: please see under transport, below.

Participation

  • Priority is given to key-note speakers, participants with papers, members of the Network’s steering committee and contributors to the Network’s publication
  • Other interested parties are also welcome, provided there are places available, and will be placed on a waiting list in the order registrations are received. Final decision will be made after the deadline for registration. 

Registration

By e-mail to the NordForsk secretariat:

including the following details:

  • Your name, title and institution
  • Time of arrival
  • Special wishes, for example concerning meals.

Deadline for registration: Monday, 7 August 2006.

Confirmation of registration:

Confirmation of participation will be sent by e-mail as soon as possible before the end of August 2006.

  Transport

  • The Sandbjerg Estate is situated near Sønderborg, which can be reached by train or plane (from Copenhagen). The closest international airport is Billund
  • Arrangement about method of travelling – by plane or by train, see below for the different groups - should be made with the NordForsk secretariat secretary Else Tange, et@teol.ku.dk as soon as possible after the acceptance of your participation.
  • Arrangement about travelling from the railway station or the airports to the Sandbjerg Estate will be made after registration by the organising committee.
    Please inform about time of arrival by e-mail to secretary Bente Stær, University of Aarhus: bs@teo.au.dk, with a copy to the NordForsk secretariat, et@teol.ku.dk.

  Travelling expenses

The NordForsk-Network covers the following travelling expenses:

  • For invited key-note speakers: all travelling expenses. Please book cheapest-price ticket as soon as possible – as your participation needs no acceptance, you should not wait for more information.
  • For participants with paper presentations, steering committee members and contributors to the Network’s publication from Denmark and Scania (Skåne) : travelling by train to Sønderborg.
    Further transport will be arranged by the organising committee. Please inform about time of arrival by e-mail to secretary Bente Stær, University of Aarhus: bs@teo.au.dk ; with a copy to the NordForsk secretariat, et@teol.ku.dk
  • For participants with paper presentations, steering committee members and contributors to the Network’s publication from the rest of Scandinavia: travelling by plane to Sønderborg or  Billund, maximum DKK 3,000 per plane ticket . Please book as soon as possible keeping in close contact with the NordForsk secretariat, et@teol.ku.dk.
    Further transport from Billund or Sønderborg will be arranged by the organising committee. Please inform about time of arrival by e-mail to Bente Stær: bs@teo.au.dk, with a copy to et@teol.ku.dk.
  • Other participants are requested to cover their own travelling expenses whereas accommodation will be paid by the Network.
    Please inform about your time of arrival so that you can be part of the further transport from Billund or Sønderborg, by e-mail to secretary Bente Stær: bs@teo.au.dk ; with a copy to et@teol.ku.dk.
